Hero Powers Through Adversity with Courage and a Smile

Avalon, California – Nevaeh loves the beach and new adventures, so her wish combined both with a treasured island escape. Kids Wish Network sent Nevaeh and her family to Catalina Island, a spectacular destination with natural beauty, abundant outdoor exploration, and rich history.

Honolulu, Hawaii – Golden sand, turquoise water, palm fronds swaying in the breeze, exotic flowers, and a tapestry of lush green landscapes sounds like a dream. For Jacob, this postcardesque paradise would soon be the backdrop for his real-life wish. Kids Wish Network planned a spectacular tropical getaway for Jacob, and it wasn’t long before he was saying aloha to Hawaii!

Janxiel loves spending time with his adoring family. He especially enjoys being out and about exploring, going on stroller rides, listening to music, and water play. With his wish coming true, Janxiel will soon be having an adventure like never before.

It was bittersweet for Owen and his teammates playing their last baseball game of the season. Their bond is strong, uplifting each other through each game’s challenges and triumphs. They also had a surprise victory to celebrate off the field. The team curiously watched as their coach called Owen to the front of the group and announced that Kids Wish Network was making his dream come true! He received a gift package that sparked echoes of anticipation. His teammates cheered him on to open it and made guesses on what it could be.

Penelope received a Hero gift package as part of Kids Wish Network’s Hero of the Month program. She has a military parent who is currently deployed, and Kids Wish Network is grateful to honor her family for their service and sacrifices.
