Indianapolis, Indiana – Elijah’s golf lesson at Altura Golf Lab turned into a hole in one when he was surprised with the exciting news that Kids Wish Network was making his dream come true: sending him to WWE’s Monday Night RAW to meet his favorite wrestler, Jey Uso.

Elijah hadn’t been to a live WWE event since he was four years old, so his memories were faint. This time, it would be absolutely unforgettable. He was so full of anticipation the night before that he could barely sleep.

What would it be like meeting WWE superstar Jey Uso? It was finally time to find out.

Elijah and his family were the only ones there for the exclusive meeting, far removed from the crowds. Then it happened, in walked Jey Uso. Elijah smiled and said, “What’s up Jey?” Uso warmly greeted him back with, “You the man!” Elijah quickly got over his nerves.

“He was a great guy to talk to,” said Elijah.

The two had a meaningful conversation, getting to know each other and discovering they had common interests like golf. Elijah asked him about his friendships with fellow WWE wrestlers and how he got into wrestling.

“It was just awesome to watch Elijah sit back and have a conversation with Uso,” said his mom Heather.

Their very special meeting also included a fun photo shoot full of fan-favorite Uso poses and treasured gifts. Uso gave Elijah a shirt and hat that he personally signed for him, along with his hand-drawn Yeet sunglasses as prized mementos. Elijah also had gifts for Uso to remember him by, giving him a Kids Wish Network hat and a silicone band bracelet.

Elijah was later thrilled to find out that Uso wore the bracelet during the night’s match, and even days after the event he spotted it in photos on Instagram.

“I think it meant a lot to him too,” said Elijah’s mom.

After the epic meeting, they watched all the WWE action surrounded by the energy of the live show. When Uso unexpectedly got in the ring despite a storyline injury, Elijah’s mom said she loved watching how he lit up. Elijah exclaimed, “He’s back!”

What was Elijah’s favorite part of his wish?

“I liked everything about it!” he said.

Elijah has been through so much while coping with his DGAT1 gene mutation diagnosis. It has caused feeding issues, metabolic disorder, protein-losing enteropathy, and additional complications. His diagnoses have increased over the years, leading to several hospitalizations and painful surgeries. Elijah relies on a G-tube for sustenance.
