ORLANDO, Florida — More than anything, Keslyn dreamed of visiting Disney and meeting her favorite characters. Kids Wish Network made that dream come true with an unforgettable Orlando getaway filled with magic, memories, and adventure.

Kids Wish Network flew Keslyn and her family to Florida for her theme park get away. It was an incredible experience finally seeing Disney through her own eyes. Some of her most magical moments included standing before Cinderella’s Castle and taking special photos with Goofy and Ariel. The park’s full fall décor made the experience even more enchanting.

Keslyn also loved stepping into the worlds of her favorite video games at Super Nintendo World at Universal, where she had an absolute blast.

Their dining experiences were just as memorable. At Paddlefish, they enjoyed dinner aboard an upscale stationary steamboat overlooking Lake Buena Vista. At the Rainforest Café, the family ate among animatronic animals surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle — and Keslyn even received a whimsical Rainforest Café water sipper as a keepsake. They also enjoyed delicious BBQ with industrial vibes and waterfront views at The Polite Pig. All meals were graciously provided by the restaurants.

Spacious, contemporary accommodations were generously provided by The Florida Hotel & Conference Center, giving the family a comfortable home base throughout their stay.

Keslyn has cerebral palsy. She was born premature and spent her first six months in the NICU, where she experienced grade 3 and 4 brain bleeds and underwent multiple surgeries. As she grew, she required additional procedures, including a shunt placement to drain excess fluid from her brain, surgery to correct her eye muscles, operations on her spinal nerves, and work on her hips. She may need more surgeries in the future. She can walk short distances with a gait trainer, but primarily relies on her wheelchair.
