Wish Kid Attends Jurassic World Rebirth Premiere and Meets Scarlett Johansson at After Party!
New York City – Hunter is obsessed with Jurassic World movies, watching them all countless times. Hunter’s dream coming true was epic and of the prehistoric kind. He attended the Jurassic World Rebirth premiere, being one of the first in the world to see the movie before it’s released in theaters! “I kept looking over at him, and he was so excited watching it,” said his mom Bethany. “Experiencing that with him was something I will always remember and cherish.”
Hunter and his mom were also invited to the premiere’s after party where Hunter had the thrill of his life meeting superstar Scarlett Johansson. It was one of those I can’t believe this is actually happening moments that was sealed with getting her autograph, a photo together, and a kiss on the cheek! The film’s actress Audrina Miranda was also kind and engaging with Hunter, and he was all smiles when she complimented his stylish suit. As a guest of the after party, Hunter additionally received an exclusive Jurassic World Rebirth LEGO set.
His wish trip included a visit to the American Museum of Natural History, and Hunter was absolutely captivated by their renowned dinosaur exhibits. His dad Zachary joked, “We’d still be there if we didn’t have to leave.” The family’s admission was courtesy of the museum. Hunter was further celebrated with lunch at Serafina Upper West Side, where he tried red snapper for the first time, and dinner at Maison Pickle where he enjoyed decadent jumbo shrimp. Their meals were graciously provided by the restaurants.
Their stay was also luxurious at Arthouse Hotel New York City. Hunter’s dad will always remember his expression the moment he entered the hotel room. He said, “The look on his face and how excited he was knowing that this was the start of a fantastic couple of days is something I’ll never forget.” The hotel also kindly surprised Hunter with a collection of dinosaur stuffed animals as gifts. Accommodations were generously provided by Arthouse Hotel New York City.
This Jurassic fan had his own exhilarating adventure that he never could have imagined for himself. “It was all kind of hard to believe,” said Hunter. “It was amazing!”
Hunter has spinal muscular atrophy, a rare neuromuscular disorder that results in the loss of motor neurons and progressive muscle wasting. He’s currently part of a drug trial that’s successfully preventing further muscle deterioration, and Hunter also has a magic rod inserted in his spinal cord that is expanded with a magnet.
