Jazmine has been healing after the loss of her mom. Despite everything she’s been through, she is mature beyond her years, and a shining role model for others. Jazmine is a caretaker and protector, and loves nurturing all the younger children at family gatherings.

Elijah is courageously coping with the loss of his father. He’s been strong for the rest of his family even though he is also grieving and dealing with the impact of his unimaginable loss.

Johnathan was nominated by his mom, and Kids Wish Network is so happy to send happiness his way with a Hero gift package. 

Landon and Ella’s mom is fighting cancer for the third time. Kids Wish Network awarded Landon and Ella Heroes of the Month, sending them gift packages including Hero goodies and a retail gift card. They had so much fun shopping for their favorite things!

Syrenity’s faith had stood firm through the loss of her mom. “She tends to carry strength for the world on her shoulders because she has such a love for helping others,” said her grandma. “What a beautiful young lady she is to the world.” Syrenity sets her own emotions aside to help others.

Denzel has shown so much courage since the passing of his mother. He has shown compassion in ways that even adults struggle with. He is also loving, energetic and athletic.

Siblings June and Manavi continue to cope with their dad’s long and difficult cancer battle. It’s been a very challenging time for their family.

Siblings Courageously Cope with Devastating Loss of Brother

Malaysia has been faced with adversity since the start of the year. In February, she witnessed the loss of her 9-year-old cousin who succumbed to brain cancer. Malaysia also witnessed her younger brother be unresponsive and rushed to the hospital. Ten days later, she heard the news that her younger brother wasn’t coming back home.

Mia’s mother was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Mia is a Hero because she is always checking to make sure everyone is happy, and will go out of her way to bring a smile to others.

Jakob pulled into the Northside of the jetty at Boynton Beach Inlet. He saw a group of people trying to pull a woman out of the inlet. Jakob valiantly jumped in and was amazingly able to bring her to the seawall where two men helped him pull her out of the water.

Kylie continues to cope with the passing of her older brother. She spent most of her time coming and going from hospitals as he battled brain cancer. Though he was ill, he was Kylie’s protector.

Ava is the oldest of three with two little brothers. She is the best role model for them and her cousins. Through her mom’s diagnosis, she has maintained poise and positivity.

Lillian is a Hero in every aspect. She has been through countless procedures, tests and surgeries. She has had tubes removed and put in while awake, always with a smile on her face.

Family life has been very different for Carmen and Rico after their mom’s cancer diagnosis that required chemo, radiation and surgery out-of-state.

When deciding what type of project to take on for her Girl Scout Silver Award, Caden knew that she wanted to use the art of crochet to help positively impact her community. Caden was shown the basics of how to crochet by her grandma. She then continued to learn watching dozens of YouTube videos on how to crochet amigurumi stuffed animals.

Siblings Justin Makani, Keilana, Ikaia and Nohea are grieving the recent loss of their big sister.
