Amarillo, Texas – Raymond adores sensory toys and bright colors, and will soon have so much fun shopping from a vast array of sensory toys, equipment, clothing, and accessories. Kids Wish Network made his dream come true, purchasing Raymond a very generous gift card for Fun & Function who kindly provided a discounted rate. The online retailer carries sensory merchandise for a variety of diagnoses and celebrates the strengths of children with special needs. Raymond is so excited to shop for all his favorite things!

He also has a fun day at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas to look forward to when he visits Texas for an upcoming procedure. He’ll get to experience interactive LEGO exhibits, rides, character appearances, and creative attractions. Merlin’s Magic Wand is providing his family’s admission, giving them a day of family time and memories to cherish.

At five months old, Raymond was admitted to the PICU where he underwent a bronchoscopy that revealed his lungs were collapsing. He needed a tracheostomy and a feeding tube. At eight months old, Raymond was diagnosed with Chromosome 8P duplication, deletions and inversion, an extremely rare genetic condition. He undergoes physical and speech therapies, and is dependent on his loving family for all of his needs.
