Wish Girl Connects with Thundermans’ Jack Griffo

Lillian has refractory epilepsy, a seizure disorder resistant to medications. She thought she was having a typical Skype interview with her Kids Wish Network wish coordinator when something made her scream. A familiar face joined the Skype call… was Jack Griffo who previously starred on her favorite Nickelodeon show The Thundermans. “Lillian said, ‘oh my God, no way’ and then my eardrum just blew,” joked her mom. “I had to keep stopping her from screaming. She was thrilled for sure!” It was a complete surprise and she couldn’t believe she was speaking with her idol. Griffo spent time getting to know Lillian, and she attempted to remain calm enough to answer his questions. He was also excited to speak with her about her wish coming true with Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses. It was already way more than Lillian could have ever imagined for herself.

Kids Wish Network flew Lillian and her family to Los Angeles for her California adventure. She had many new experiences at Universal Studios Hollywood. They also enjoyed a beautiful stay at the Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale and a memorable dinner at Daily Grille.

Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai said, “It’s always fun when we’re able to surprise our wish kids with something so unexpected and out of their realm of reality.”
