Kids Wish Network recently hosted a traveling Project Toy Drop-in support of Wounded Warriors Battalion West. To show its appreciation, Kids Wish Network distributed 30 pallets of toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, and beach themed items to the children of recovering servicemen and women who have sacrificed for our freedom.

“It was an honor for Kids Wish Network to support Camp Pendleton Wounded Warriors Battalion West,” said KWN Executive Director Tam Lai. “These servicemen and women have selflessly answered the call to protect our nation and our liberties. We would like to show our appreciation and gratitude for their service by supporting their families and letting them know that Kids Wish Network cares.”

As we celebrate America’s brave men and women, Kids Wish Network would also like to extend its thank you and appreciation to all the generous sponsors for their continued support of our special deliveries: Walmart transportation, Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Dunkin’, Firehouse Subs, Jack in the Box, Camp Pendleton MCB Commissary, Sprouts Farmers Market, Holiday Inn Oceanside Camp Pendleton Area, Hertz Rent-a-Car San Diego, Shake Smart, Yum Yum Donuts, Jolly Roger Restaurant, and Harbor Fish & Chips.

Project Toy Drop creates miles of smiles as we travel across the country, delivering new toys, games, clothing, and other much-needed items to children ages 3-16 who need joy and hope. You can get involved in strengthening our communities, spreading joy to at-risk children, and honoring the children of military families.

###

Kids Wish Network has been making dreams come true for children since 1997. We are dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children experiencing life-altering situations. We started with the single purpose of granting wishes to children suffering from life-threatening conditions but have since created additional programs to benefit kids nationwide, including Hero of the Month, Project Toy Drop, Holiday of Hope Gift Banks, and A Child Forever Funeral Assistance.
