Magical Christmas Getaway will be a Holiday to Remember

Memphis, Tennessee - Nia loves all things Disney and absolutely adores Minnie Mouse. With Kids Wish Network making her dream come true, it wouldn’t be long before Nia and her family would be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth – Disney World! Kids Wish Network provided their airfare, generous Disney gift cards, and the means for costly trip expenses to make their Christmas family getaway possible. Kids Wish Network also helped facilitate admission to all the Disney and Universal theme parks. Orlando adventures, Disney holiday magic and family fun await!

“I appreciate everything you’ve done for Nia and can’t wait,” said her dad DeAnthony. “I’m most looking forward to her enjoying herself and having the best time of her life. It’s all about her.”

Her family’s holiday season will be extra merry and bright. 

When Nia was a baby, a family outing with her being inconsolable prompted a visit to the ER. She underwent a barrage of testing, and remained in the hospital for a week. A liver biopsy finally revealed her diagnosis of glycogen storage disease type III, a rare metabolic disorder primarily affecting the liver, heart and skeletal muscle. She adheres to a specified diet, and also recently had a procedure for the insertion of a G-Tube to assist with nutrition.
