Laramie continues to push past the pain in every session
On November 9, 2014, Laramie’s life changed forever. After getting caught in a house fire, the 5-year-old sustained severe burns on 75% of his body. When Laramie first arrived at Shriners Hospitals for Children- Cincinnati, he was in a medically-induced coma and had to undergo several skin grafting surgeries in order to cover his wounds. Once that was achieved, Laramie started therapy immediately.
Therapy is very hard but Laramie continues to push past the pain in every session to build up his strength and endurance. Laramie will need to wear pressure garments for several months to help keep his skin smooth but continues to work hard every single day and manages to keep a smile on his face.
Along with Shriners- Cincinnati, Kids Wish Network is proud to honor Laramie as a Hero of the Month!
