Wish is Fun and Games for Teen with Cerebral Palsy

Ryan loves playing video games and has an adventurous spirit. At 18 months old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, a group of disorders that affect movement, balance, and muscle tone. He fatigues easily when walking long distances, and works hard with a personal trainer to strengthen his legs. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, purchased him generous gift cards to Amazon and GameStop so he could shop for all the things he’s been hoping for. He plans on getting outdoor gear to play outside, and is excited to add to his collection of video games.

“Ryan will have so much fun picking out all the things he’s been wishing for,” said his Kids Wish Network Wish Coordinator Melissa Calabrese.
