Teen’s Wish is Right on Target

Stephanie is most content when she’s out in nature, whether she’s playing on the playground or digging in the dirt to find treasured rocks. She struggles with many lifelong complications, and will be dependent on caregivers throughout her life. Stephanie’s uncontrolled seizures resulted in brain damage, and she has spastic quadriplegia, a form of spastic cerebral palsy that affects both arms and legs. Besides playing outdoors, she also loves being on her iPad. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, purchased Stephanie a generous Target gift card, so the teen could shop for outdoor gear, electronics, or other items that she’s been hoping for on her special wish list.

“Stephanie will have so much fun shopping for all the things that bring her happiness,” said her Wish Coordinator Kim Kreiner.
