Logan was set to attend a live taping of a hit TV show, but when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the teen was prevented from traveling to the set. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, was able to arrange a surprise ZOOM session with the show’s star.
Logan was astonished seeing his idol appear on his computer screen, he was absolutely star-struck. During the ZOOM call, they talked about their common interests, and the mystery actor engaged Logan with anecdotes, behind the scenes stories, and amused him with an impromptu voicing of a character from one of his previous roles. The actor also shared with Logan about a future project he’s working on.
At the end of their ZOOM hangout, this mystery actor revealed another big surprise… presenting Logan with a special gift, the massive LEGO Star Wars Death Star he’s been wishing for. He gasped and paused in a moment of excitement before blurting out, “I always wanted this set… its huge!” Once Logan had a few moments to process his entire surprise he said, “That was awesome!!!”
”It was very special for Logan that he spent so much time with him,” said his mom Vanessa, grateful for the kindness given to her son.
“We’re so glad we could surprise Logan with such a special wish, it’s an amazing experience that he’ll always remember,” said Kids Wish Network’s Executive Director Tam Lai.
Logan struggles with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the most severe and progressive form of muscular dystrophy, causing his muscles to rapidly deteriorate.
