Epileptic Girl Dances with Princess Belle

“Her face lit up once she saw the characters. It was a magical, amazing experience!”

Isabella loves Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and it has always been her dream to meet them. Kids Wish Network made her dream come true by flying her family to Disneyworld to meet her favorite characters.

Isabella suffers from PCDH19 epilepsy, a rare form of epilepsy characterized by early onset seizures, cognitive and sensory delays, and behavioral problems. Bella suffers from clusters of 20 to 30 seizures a day that started when she was only 7 months old. Isabella has tried many forms of medicine, but all have failed to control her seizures.

Isabella and her family stayed at the wonderful Melia Orlando Hotel during their trip to Disney. When she arrived, Isabella was surprised to find her room had been decorated in Disney accessories including Minnie Mouse and Disney princess decorations. On the first day of her Disney adventure, Isabella and her family went to Magic Kingdom where she got to meet some of her favorite characters including Mickey, Minnie, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Isabella even got to dance with Belle and be in her show. For dinner, Isabella dined at Chef Mickey’s where she got to visit with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy.

“Her face lit up once she saw the characters. It was a magical, amazing experience,” said Isabella’s mom Candice.

During her second day at Disney, Isabella went to Hollywood Studios, where she marched along with the stormtrooper parade. Afterwards, Isabella went to the Launch Bay where she got to meet tons of Star Wars characters including Chewbacca and Rey from The Force Awakens. To end her Disney trip, Isabella got to see the Disney Jr Live Stage Show. Isabella had an amazing time on her wish and truly felt like a princess.

Kids Wish Network would like to thank the Melia Orlando Hotel for making Isabella’s dreams become a reality.
