Oliver loves adventure and the thrill of roller coasters and theme parks. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, crafted an amazing wish for Oliver, sending his family to Disney World and Universal Studios for lots of thrill-filled excitement.
Oliver spent his first magical days at Disney World exploring Epcot and Magic Kingdom. He was all about the rides and loved Soarin’ and Spaceship Earth so much, he rode them many times in a row. After their time in the house of the mouse, Oliver’s family spent the rest of their wish at Universal Studios. He enjoyed all the adrenaline filled rides and especially liked Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride. He had an enchanted time at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and loved riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Oliver also bought a wand to remember his magical time at Universal.
The family stayed at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld hotel and had a room on the top floor with a spectacular view. “Oliver has no fear of heights. He wanted to be on the top floor, and that’s where our room was,” said Oliver’s dad Jason. They dined at UNO Pizzeria, Ford’s Garage, and Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ at Disney Springs, who provided memorable dining experiences for his family.
Oliver suffers from X-linked Agammaglobulinemia, a condition that prevents his immune system from fighting back against infection. “Oliver was able to experience so many things that excite his sense of adventure,” said Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai.
