Bedroom Makeover Wish is Teen’s Happy Place

TRUMBULL, Conn. (September 2019): Cameron D’Addario suffers from postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, a condition where an excessively reduced volume of blood returns to the heart when moving from a lying down to a standing position. The illness causes an abnormally large increase in heart rate, with some symptoms including lightheadedness, weakness, brain fog and nausea.

Cameron loves interior design, and wished for her own bedroom makeover. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, purchased her a generous gift card to Wayfair, and she’s excited to make her bedroom one of her first decorating projects.

“Cameron’s wish will further inspire her love of interior design and enable her to create a beautiful space of her own,” said Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai.

Kids Wish Network is a national charitable organization dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children with life-threatening conditions and struggling with life-altering situations. KWN provides for trip expenses, meals, accommodations and additional spending monies to all wish families whenever traveling as applicable.
