ORLANDO, Fla. (September 2019): Taylor Brown loves Harry Potter and theme parks and her wish was to visit Universal Studios and Disney World in Florida. She suffers from a life-threatening condition, so Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, flew Taylor and her family to Orlando for a magical theme park getaway.
During Taylor’s theme park adventure, her family went to Universal Studios, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. While at Universal, Taylor made sure to go on every Harry Potter ride. She was excited to ride Hogwarts Express and try their famous butterbeer soda. That evening the family had a wonderful dinner at The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar.
Taylor loved the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror during her visit to Hollywood Studios. She had a fun time meeting some of her favorite Disney characters and watching the Storm Trooper parade. That night, Taylor and her family enjoyed dinner at Hopdoddy Burger Bar, a fun new burger place on International Drive. Taylor had a grand adventure at Animal Kingdom and loved the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. After an exhausting wildlife filled day, the family had a relaxing dinner at Bahama Breeze before heading over to The Magic Kingdom to marvel at the fantastic fireworks display. The perfect fairy tale end to a magical wish. “It was so nice to see Taylor smile more and see her spirits lifted,” said her mom Mamie. Taylor and her family also enjoyed beautiful accommodations at the Wyndam Lake Buena Vista Hotel.
“We’re happy we could give Taylor a wish that brought her so many meaningful moments with her family,” said Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai.
