ORLANDO, Fla. (July 2019): Addison Nelson loves Disney princesses, especially Belle, and theme parks. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, provided tickets to Universal Studios in Orlando and spending money so Addison could experience the exhilaration of Florida theme parks. Addison suffers from a life-threatening condition.
Addison and her family already had a trip planned to Disney so Kids Wish Network added on to their adventure to make Addison’s experience extra special. Addison not only received tickets to Universal Studios theme park, but also experienced the Islands of Adventure. She loved exploring Universal, and had a blast at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Her favorite part was meeting some of her favorite SpongeBob SquarePants characters including Patrick Star. She was also chosen to participate in a small show with them as well.
“Addison’s wish enabled her to experience even more special family moments that they will always cherish,” said Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai.
