COLUMBUS, Ohio. (May 2019): Ava loves Disney princesses, and always dreamed of meeting them all in person, especially Anna and Elsa from Frozen. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, granted Ava’s wish and sent her family to see Disney On Ice’s Frozen. Ava has a life-threatening illness.
For Ava’s wintery wish her family stayed at the chic Hotel Leveque where she was surprised with a unicorn plush, her favorite animal. The following day, it was time for the big show at The Schottenstein Center. Beforehand, Ava and her family had a fantastic dinner at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana. They were greeted with balloons and given special attention from the staff. After dinner it was time for the show! When Ava arrived at the venue she was greeted by a FELD representative in charge of the event that escorted them to a special meet and greet with Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. Ava was overjoyed and rushed to hug her favorite princesses.
“I met the Disney princesses!” exclaimed Ava.
After meeting her favorite royal sisters, Ava and her family found their seats for the show. She had a wonderful time, and loved watching all the Disney magic on ice. Ava kept talking about all the Disney princesses that she saw when she returned to school.
“We’re happy we were able to give Ava what she dreamed about and more with this special show,” said Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai.
