“I loved seeing how happy Braylon was, his laugh and smile were contagious”
Wish Kid Braylon loves animals. From pythons to platypuses Braylon is fascinated with them all. At home, Braylon has a dog named Bentley that he loves very much and usually refers to every other animal as a Bentley. Braylon has always wanted to visit the famous San Diego Zoo and Kids Wish Network Granted his wish and flew him and his family to San Diego.
Braylon suffers from Hydrocephalus, a build-up of fluid in cavities deep within the brain. Because of his condition Braylon can only say about 10 words and has trouble walking long distances.
After arriving in San Diego Braylon and his family checked in at the Hyatt Mission Bay Spa and Marina Hotel located right on the water. Upon arriving Braylon received a gift bag filled with candy and fun little trinkets for Braylon to take home. The next day Braylon and his family went to SeaWorld San Diego where they had an awesome time watching dolphin and killer whale shows and exploring all the aquatic attractions. Braylon especially liked watching the penguins swim around in their enclosure. After a great day Braylon and family were treated to a scrumptious dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.
After a wonderful time at SeaWorld Braylon and his family had an amazing adventure at the San Diego Zoo. Braylon saw hippos, tigers, polar bears, and elephants. But despite all the exotic and weird animals at the zoo, Braylon’s favorite experience was the petting zoo where he got to interact with all kinds of farm animals. Out of the hundreds of animals Braylon saw at the zoo, the billy goat was his favorite. After their exciting adventure at the San Diego Zoo Braylon and his family had a delicious meal at CUCINA Urbana. “I loved seeing how happy Braylon was, his laugh and smile were contagious,” said Braylon’s mom Kristy.
