Distribution Manager at Kids Wish Network
Ms. Starr with Hudson Middle School (Pasco County, FL) was my teacher when I was in school about 20 years ago. She helped myself, along with many others by teaching us everyday life skills. Ms. Starr is not only a teacher now, but a mentor for the “Cougar Community Club” where she helps the students by improving their life skills, creating goals for themselves, and achieving those goals.
Ms. Starr and the “Cougar Community Club” are currently working with Kids Wish Network’s CLASS program where kids are taught to use philanthropy to help raise awareness and funds to help grant wishes for the children of life-threatening illnesses that we serve. Once the school year is coming to an end, Kids Wish Network will provide a party with the students to reward them with lunch for all of their hard work in helping to grant once in a lifetime wishes.
Kids Wish Network is also going to provide the school with a Gift Bank consisting of toys, games, educational items, and other necessities for children in need within the school community.
A funny coincidence, I am the Distribution Manager for Kids Wish Network. I have the chance to pay it forward and give back to the teacher and school community that helped me to get where I am today.
I will be personally delivering these items to the school, so that I can give back to the person and community that has helped me in the past.
