When Josh was a baby, he had a high fever and experienced a seizure. As a child, he was getting worse and having seizures more frequently. Josh underwent a week long EEG test in the hospital, and it was discovered that he had a seizure disorder, characterized by episodes of uncontrolled electrical activity in the brain. Some seizure disorders are hereditary, while others are caused by birth defects. Josh takes medications in an attempt to keep his condition under control.
Josh is a caring and helpful child, always looking out for the well being of those around him. When he grows up, he hopes to continue helping others as a police officer. Josh loves reading, video games, watching police shows, and playing with cars and trucks. He dreamed about shopping for all of his favorite things.
Kids Wish Network sent Josh on a fun shopping excursion. Before his shopping spree, he and his family enjoyed lunch at the eclectic Toot’s South for “good food and fun.” The restaurant also kindly gifted Josh T-shirts, sunglasses and a bottle of their famed Toot’s sauce.
Then it was time for Josh’s generous shopping spree at Walmart, courtesy of Kids Wish Network. Josh had a big wish list, and had fun picking out all of his favorite things.
Kids Wish Network would like to thank Toot’s South for making Josh’s wish extra special.
