As an infant, Carson always seemed to be sick. He had an upper airway infection that often blocked his breathing and caused him to have a distinctive barking cough for a full year before doctors started running tests on him. During his tests, he was placed on an EEG for 30 minutes where the results showed his brain had spiked a total of eight times. After a variety of tests showed lesions that could be causing the seizures, young Carson was diagnosed with epilepsy. Doctors plan on performing an MRI on his brain to see where these lesions are located and if they can be safely removed.
Despite Carson’s condition, he still looks for ways to be active and stay cheerful. Carson loves to play with Legos and to be outdoors. Carson would love to visit somewhere new and magical such as the various theme parks that Orlando, Florida has to offer.
