Following a premature emergency birth, Brady was experiencing hearing loss, vision impairment, breathing issues, and narrowing of his airways which led to his diagnosis of CHARGE Syndrome. In later years, following 12 bouts of pneumonia, doctors discovered that Brady’s T-cells were not able to replicate themselves to fight off infections properly. In addition to his CHARGE Syndrome, Brady was then also diagnosed with T-Cell Immune Deficiency and had to be placed on monthly IVIG infusions. For these infusions, the healthy plasma from approximately 1000 donors is gathered and combined, then is professionally administered into Brady to help him remain healthy.
Brady is currently doing weekly physical, occupational, and speech therapy and sees up to 12 different doctors in a single month. Despite these seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Brady fights hard to surpass his medical, physical, educational, and social expectations.
Brady is a smart and engaging kid who loves sports, telling stories, singing, and playing video games. Described as funny and outgoing, Brady can be found watching the Cartoon Network, building things with his Legos, or playing outside during his down time. Bradley loves all things soccer and enjoys following his all-time favorite team, the New England Revolution.
