Caleigh was initially diagnosed with microcephaly at four months old. Further testing expanded the diagnosis to include Myoclonous Epilepsy. She receives treatment through physical, occupational, speech, and music therapies.
Her family says Caleigh has an “adventurous soul” so they often take her to amusement parks where she may enjoy select rides and do all kinds of people-watching. She is happiest when she is outdoors and simply “hanging out” with her family. On those days when she must be indoors, she often watches the Disney Channel and reacts immediately as soon as she hears the various theme songs from the shows. Her favorite is Mickey Mouse Club House. Although non-verbal, it is quite clear what makes this little girl the most excited.
