A Wacom Graphic Tablet for Wish Kid and Armature Photographer Shamarie

“Mari developed CP as the result of brain damage in the womb”

Born prematurely, Shamarie or “Mari” to most, was only 24 weeks old when she was delivered along with her twin brother. Shortly after her birth, Mari had surgery to place a shunt in her brain to drain excess fluid. She was also immediately diagnosed with the motor disability cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy can be caused by damage to the developing brain, something that Mari experienced in the womb.

Mari is a sweet and mellow extrovert who loves to cook and has a real passion for photography. She is also a movie buff and wants to study the art of film in college.

Kids Wish Network wanted to give Mari her dream – her very own Wacom Cintiq 13HD graphic tablet so she can edit her photos like a professional. Generous donors and sponsors worked with Kids Wish Network to make Mari’s dream a reality.

Kids Wish Network partnered with Wacom Brand Ambassador, Catherine Hall of Catherine Hall Studios to give Mari her very own personal Wacom Cintiq 13HD graphic tablet. The wish didn’t end there. Mari and her family had an amazing dinner specially delivered to their home courtesy of the delicious and ever popular Olive Garden.

Mari was so excited and grateful that her forever wish was granted by Kids Wish Network. “It made me feel special that someone would be so generous and want to make me happy,” she stated.

Kids Wish Network would like to thank the following sponsors for helping make Jessica’s wish come true:
• Catherine Hall Studios
• Olive Garden
