“This award made Cameron’s night”
Cameron is an outgoing and spunky little boy with a history of severe complications from asthma. For the second time in a month, Cameron was recently admitted to the Orange Regional Medical Center for care. The 4-year-old was brought to the ER because he was having a difficult time breathing. With Cameron’s history of asthma and a current diagnosis of pneumonia, Cameron had to be admitted to the medical center for a five-day stay. During this time, Cameron underwent multiple steroid treatments and IV placements, but never let the pain or discomfort damper his spirits.
“Cameron was extremely compliant and cooperative during all procedures, and was always happy to have visitors come to his room,” said his facility nominator.
“This was Cameron’s fourth long hospital visit within a year,” recalls his mom. “It was nice that the hospital recognized him for being so brave. Thank you so much for this award; it made his night, and mine!”
Kids Wish Network is happy to honor Cameron along with Orange Regional Medical Center. Way to be brave, Cameron!
