Bella loved meeting all the Princesses on her Disney Wish
When Bella was only 2 years old, she began vomiting, having to use the restroom frequently, and dropped weight extremely fast. Once at the hospital, her blood sugar levels spiked to over 600, the highest reading on the meter. Her fragile body was in a toxic state of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and she was kept in the ICU for 24 hours.
Bella was then diagnosed with Autoimmune Disease in June 2012 and was given two different types of insulin daily until an insulin pump was inserted in December 2013. Spikes in her blood sugar have required hospitalization multiple times. Her daily routine is a constant rollercoaster of extremely high to low levels of blood sugar. She requires an alert dog, named Buttons, to be with her at all times and is unable to do much physical activity.
Littl Bella is the definition of a girly-girl; she takes ballet, tap and tumbling classes, loves the color pink and is obsessed with all the Disney Princesses. So when Kids Wish Network gave her the chance to meet them, she was beyond excited.
Bella and her family traveled to the Florida theme parks for five days of fun where Bella’s wish came true; she got to meet the Princesses! The family had a wonderful time, and Bella loved having her picture taken with all the beautiful characters.
A big thanks goes out to all Bella’s Guardian Angel sponsors!
