Shriners Hospital – Twin Cities, December 2013
Mason is a 16-year-old boy who always has a smile on his face. Born eight weeks early with cerebral palsy, he has endured several surgeries on his legs. Mason is described as a trooper, who always tries his hardest, follows directions and uses his manners.
During a recent leg surgery at Shriners Hospital – Twin Cities, Mason was nominated for Hero of the Month for his resilience and ability to bring joy to those around him. Mason has a great sense of humor, sometimes being the class clown.
As a source of strength in his family since his father passed away, Mason doesn’t let anything knock him down and always has a winning attitude.
Mason wrote us a sweet letter:
Thank you for all the kids wish network stuff. I am very proud to be hero of the month.l My mom nominated me when i was having surgery at Shriner’s hospital.
