When he was a little over a year old, Trevor was diagnosed with having Hunter syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder that causes varying severe symptoms. In Trevor’s case, his hands are bent and he has a hard time breathing and hearing. To help ease his breathing, doctors removed Trevor’s tonsils. He also receives weekly infusions from a home healthcare nurse to help with his other symptoms.
Trevor and his family had an absolutely wonderful time at Disney World in Florida. Trevor met up with his favorite characters and was treated like a little prince during a special dinner at Carrabba’s Italian Grill, where they surprised him with a magnificent “Toy Story” cake! It was the wish of a lifetime for Trevor, who will now tell anyone who will listen how he learned that Goofy sleeps at the castle in the Magic Kingdom!
