Tobie is a 13 year old boy who was admitted to the pediatric department with chronic constipation. He has a history of many GI issues in the past and his most recent diagnosis had him out of school for over a week. During his admission, Tobie endured many painful procedures that were very uncomfortable physically and emotionally for an adolescent. His treatment included a nasogastric tube, drinking large quantities of unpleasant medication, repeated enemas and trip to the OR. Through it all he remained positive and showed himself to be a Hero!
