Tyler is three-years old and has been receiving weekly enzyme infusions over the past year. He was diagnosed with Hurler’s Syndrome and just recently had a stem cell transplant in St. Petersburg, FL, in hopes that he would be relieved of the ongoing infusions. Tyler has battled through all the roller coasters his diagnosis has put him through. Since his transplant, he has been in and out of the hospital numerous for various reasons such as: fever, low counts, vomiting, etc. Tyler is such a trooper and has really come a long way since being diagnosed. He has seen multiple doctors since birth, and has taken various medications and treatments to contain this enzyme deficiency, Watching this sweet boy experience such misery with strength and perseverance is quite heroic. He is truly a HERO – a one-of-a-kind smart and courageous young boy!
