Christina was in the hospital for 19 days and left to go to St. Joes for continual rehab. She came in with lower leg weakness and is still not able to walk. She was first diagnosed for Gillian Barie but was misdiagnosed and then was diagnosed with transverse mellitus. She had to get IVIG and Steroids and was stuck in her bed for one week before staff was able to get a special wheelchair for her. Christina kept a positive attitude throughout her whole hospitalization even when not being able to walk. There is a small percentage that she may get back to full recovery.
