Young Hero Bravely Faces Challenging Unknowns with Positivity

Charlee previously had a traumatic dental experience, so it was extremely challenging for her having to go to the hospital. She had to undergo a brain MRI as she has been experiencing spurs in her vision and courageously facing the scariness of anesthesia worries. “We recognize her as a Hero and trust she will continue to be surrounded by support in the challenges she faces,” said her Child Life Specialist Flora Nannini at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. She nominated Charlee, and Kids Wish Network rewarded her as a Hero for bravely facing all the difficult unknowns of her testing and treatment with positivity, putting the fears of her past behind her.
