Mission Statement

Kids Wish Network is a nationally recognized charitable organization dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children. Kids Wish Network assists children and their families through several key programs.

Programs

• Kids Wish Network fulfills the wishes of children ages 3 to 18 with life-threatening medical conditions. Our dedicated staff and volunteers infuse much-needed joy into sick children’s lives by transforming their wishes from far-fetched fantasy to smile-inducing reality. Whether the wish is for travel to their favorite destination, a computer, or a visit with a favorite celebrity, we will see that the dream comes true.



• Kids Wish Network operates from one central office in Florida and utilizes a guardian angels fund, to which donations of $500.00 or more may be directed. 100% of all donations to this fund go directly to supporting our wish kids. No overhead or other operating expenses can be withdrawn from this account at any time.



• Kids Wish Network’s Funeral Assistance Program helps families of our wish kids who have passed away by lifting economic burdens and ensuring a proper end-of-life ceremony.



• Kids Wish Network developed our Holiday of Hope gift giving programs in order to bring a much-needed break from medical treatment to hospitalized children nationwide throughout the year.


During our bigger events, toys are distributed to the children, special guests are invited to interact with the kids, and entertaining activities are planned for everyone. For facilities unable to accommodate such events, we have our gift bank program, whereas caregivers are provided with toys to be given to children coming in for medical treatment. In addition, through our Hero program, children facing extremely tragic circumstances are eligible for nomination by participating facilities and awarded a wish, along with special recognition gifts.
