Welcome to Kids Wish Network...where dreams really do come true!

Since 1997, Kids Wish Network has been making dreams come true for thousands of children all over the country. The charity started out with the single purpose of granting wishes to children suffering with life-threatening conditions. Since then we have created numerous programs benefiting kids nationwide. The catalyst for launching these programs began when it became clear to us that the children we serve demonstrated needs above and beyond the extent of wishes.

Programs:

Hero of the Month: This is our fastest growing program. The honorees of this program are children between the ages of 3 and 18 who do not have a life threatening illness, but have faced and overcome some tragic circumstances with tremendous courage. Hospitals and other child care facilities throughout the country nominate one child to become their Hero of the Month. Each one of those nominees will be recognized as the facility's Hero of the Month and will be presented with a certificate, T-shirt, a Guardian Angel coin and a gift card valued up to $500. Pediatric facilities nationwide tout this program for its ability to positively impact the child's life, and the caregivers lives as well. We currently have numerous facilities waiting for the Hero of the Month program all across America.

Holiday of Hope Gift Banks: Kids Wish Network recognized a unique need at pediatric hospitals and other facilities for children who were frightened, lonely, and who did not always understand what was going on around them. The Holiday of Hope Gift Bank was created to help make their days brighter and to offer the opportunity for caregivers to distract patients from their often frightening situations. Through the Holiday of Hope Gift Bank program, Kids Wish Network sends millions of dollars worth of toys to hospitals and other child care facilities throughout the country to be distributed to the children and to be used in hospital playrooms. Hundreds of hospitals have participated in this wonderful program and even more are on our waiting list.

Wish Granting: We grant wishes to kids between the ages of 3 and 18 who are battling life-threatening conditions. The child must be able to communicate his or her wish and cannot have had a wish with another organization. Our wish kids can request just about anything for their wish, including trips to theme parks, meeting celebrities, travel, shopping sprees, computers or commodities.

Funeral Assistance: Our wish families often experience extreme financial hardships which led to the creation of our Funeral Assistance program. This program was set up to make funds available to a family in the event their child passes. In very difficult times, Kids Wish Network is committed to helping our wish families honor their child in a respectful and dignified manner by insuring a proper end of life ceremony.
