Wish Kid Gabriella’s Dream Came True – Sitting Front Row at The Voice’s Performance Finale

“Gabriella was wide eyed, jaw dropped, and full of excitement”

Gabriella or “Bella” as she prefers was only two weeks old when testing showed blockage of her biliary ducts and that most of the organs of her digestive system were “flipped’. She had to have a surgical bypass procedure to prevent liver damage. Unfortunately, a few years later, when tumors were found on her liver, Gabriella had to undergo a liver transplant. Gabriella is diagnosed with biliary artresia and remains on anti-rejection medication.

With all she’s been through, Gabriella has a strong sense of empathy for others who are ill or in pain. Mom considers her sweet daughter to be very resilient. Bella enjoys singing competition shows, her favorite being NBC’s The Voice because one of her favorite singers of all-time, Alicia Keys is a judge on the show.

Kids Wish Network wanted to grant Bella’s wish and send her to her favorite show and The Voice was more than happy to comply, donating time and recourses to make this a forever wish for Bella.

As the general public was sitting on the edge of its seat at home for The Voice’s performance finale, Bella was sitting on the edge of her seat – in the front row where the performances were happening live, right before her eyes.

With the help of The Voice, Kids Wish Network sent Bella and her family to The Voice performance finale night. While at the show, she met host Carson Daly and star coaches Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine. Bella was treated like a VIP during her time at The Voice. She spent time and took photos with the celebrity coaches, received hugs from Alicia Keys, and felt what it is like to be a “coach” herself for a few minutes as she sat in one of the coaches’ famous big red chairs.

The highlight of Bella’s wish was when she enjoyed some one-on-one time with Alicia Keys. Bella’s father, Jeremy talked about the meeting between his daughter and Alicia saying, “When Alicia first came up to us, Bella stood there wide eyed with her mouth open. It was very cute. She very much looks up to Alicia and she loves jamming to her song.”

During Bella’s forever wish, she and her family stayed at the luxurious Hilton Los Angeles Universal City and were chauffeured around Hollywood in a sleek private sedan, compliments of Black Car LA. In addition to attending The Voice and meeting the coaches, Bella was also treated to several fun-filled activities including a day at the adventurous Universal Studios Hollywood, seeing incredibly lifelike wax figures at both Madame Tussauds and The Hollywood Wax Museum, and going to the renowned Guinness World Record Museum. The family was also provided wonderful dinners courtesy of historic Mel’s Drive-In and world famous Hard Rock Café, Hollywood.
